Biography
Trent Cotchin was selected by Richmond in the 2007 National Draft with their first selection and had an excellent debut season, receiving a Rising Star nomination in 2008.
He is an important and consistent player in the Richmond side, showing creative skills in the midfield and being dangerous around goal.
Trent now has over 50 games experience and has joined the leadership group. He is a courageous player who is exciting to watch and has a big future ahead in Football.
The talented midfielder had a remarkable 2011 season taking out the Jack Dyer Medal at the Best and Fairest, finishing top 20 in the Brownlow count and captaining the Richmond side in absence of Chris Newman.
